On January 18, 2022, the United States Government launched a program that allows every home in the country to order 4 free at-home tests.
Florida Health Care Plans strongly recommends that everyone take advantage of this program so that you have tests when you need them.
On April 4, 2022, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released information about how people with Medicare Part B, including FHCP’s Medicare Advantage Members, can get up to eight over-the-counter COVID-19 tests each month, at no cost.
The announcement included a partial list of participating national pharmacy chains including: Albertsons Companies, Inc., Costco Pharmacy, CVS, Food Lion, Giant Food, The Giant Company, Hannaford Pharmacies, H-E-B Pharmacy, Hy-Vee Pharmacy, Kroger Family of Pharmacies, Rite Aid Corp., Shop & Stop, Walgreens, and Walmart.
